How I Was Created

I was immediately in the spirit and sitting on a stool at a large architectural table. Jesus was there too. In front of Him was a piece of paper that was larger and thicker than average. It had some character to it. He was holding one of those heavy pens that write so well. I immediately knew He was designing and drawing me.

The Father and Holy Spirit were around too, and there was holiday-style family banter going on while they were debating something. It took me a minute to figure out what they were talking about, and then all of a sudden, I heard: “No, he is going to have his mom’s nose!”

To which the Father replied, “No, he is going to have his Dad’s nose!”

They continued the debate with family quips and the most joy-filled opinions while deciding everything about me.

Jesus, meanwhile, didn't say a word. He just kept drawing. He knew exactly what He was doing. He carefully studied the contours of my face, the shape of my eyes, and my ears. He took the time to make sure every detail was perfect.

Finally, Jesus finished it by signing it! He held it up to the Father.

Excitedly, the Father yelled: “HE IS PERFECT!"

I was left in awe. Not only did Jesus take the time to draw me, but He did it with so much love and care that it filled my heart with happiness and joy.

This moment taught me a valuable lesson. No matter how small or insignificant a task may seem, if it's done with love and care, it will be perfect. Jesus' drawing of me showed me that God loves me so much that he took the time to create me perfectly.

How did He make you? Did He use a sewing machine? Maybe He used a computer program like CAD CAM or Adobe? Maybe He made you on a lathe or a 3-D printer… the options are endless, and the uniqueness of it speaks to who you are. What I know for sure, is: He wants to show you how He made you, and that He didn’t mess up! YOU ARE PERFECT!
